Colocation Racks & Cabinets
Colocation data center facilities are often requested to provide storage space options that are less than a full cabinet or rack; this could be half or even a quarter of the cabinet. Providing a shared cabinet space containing multiple customers can present significant difficulties. As the colocation facility, you must ensure that every customer has IT equipment secured and not accessible by any of the other customers.
The Nexpand colocation cabinets are designed to deliver an unmatched level of security and flexibility. The facility manager has the choice to select a cabinet divided into two or four compartments, with at least two completely independent ducts for the entry of power and data cables, only accessible by the customer of the specific compartment. The colocation facility providing the cabinet also has its own space at the top and bottom of the cabinet, allowing them to place equipment and locate the cabinet in any given location in the data center.

Ducts for data & power cables
Customers have access to independent and secure cable ducts, one giving entry to data cabling on one side of the cabinet and the other providing entrance to power cabling.
A four-compartment cabinet will allow for two cable ducts per customer, one per side.
Unmatched level of flexibility
The facility compartment allows for secure cabling entry and exit at the top and bottom of the cabinet and offers other critical features.
You can place the cabinet at any desired location, facilitating your corridor deployment, and guide the cables to the cable ducts instead of having to place the cabinet's cable ducts exactly on top of the cutouts your facility provides for cable entry from the floor.
