Racks & Cabinets Cable Management

Cables are everywhere in a data center, enabling a data center to operate. They transfer data and power, crossing your entire infrastructure and getting into your whitespace. Good cable management is one of the most critical aspects of your data center. Well-routed and organized cabling should have a neat and structured appearance, with cables easily identified by role/function and good accessibility for them to be moved or added. This makes future updates and repairs easier, helping to prevent downtime due to human error.

With the Nexpand Cabinet Platform, we have ensured that as soon as any cable comes close to the cabinet surroundings, you will have the best solutions in the market to manage your cable infrastructure. With hundreds of unique articles to ensure every aspect of your cabling is taken care of, from grouping cables, avoiding dust, removing sharp edges, or providing a good curvature radius for your fiber cables to prevent damage, we have the support for you.

Install divider panels to group your cabling structures over the racks; these can be installed each 100mm on the roof, allowing you to create your own layouts to group cables with different widths, all while using the same items in different positions.

Cover plates for divider panels

Cover plates for divider panels

Protect your infrastructure from dust and undesired access with our top and end of tray cover plates.
Leave an open channel at the rear of the cabinet while you work in it, and close it when desired, or create a fully protected one in the middle of the cabinet - the choice is yours. Cover plates are available in different sizes to protect any tray dimension with the divider panels

Multiple roof accessories

Multiple roof accessories

Roof inserts follow a multiple of 100 mm so that you can configure your layout exactly as you need.
We offer multiple accessory options, from blind plates to create an airtight solution where cables are not coming in or out, traditional brushes for cable entry that prevent air leakage, or cable guides that prevent sensitive cables from breaking when entering through a cabinet roof.

Even more options for a central cutout

Even more options for a central cutout

We know that some cabinet configurations will require a cutout in the rear-center part of the roof; Nexpand provides the ultimate flexibility for this.
Mount a fan unit to generate a forced flow of cooling air or select any of the other options previously mentioned, from a blind plate when you don't need the space open to brushes or cable guides.

In-rack toolless cable rings

In-rack toolless cable rings

Toolless cable rings that can be mounted in the vertical mounting rails (VMRs), in the vertical cable trays, or the frame posts (adaptor bracket required) in a 0 or 90 degrees position, provide multiple options for cable guiding within your cabinet, with a capacity for up to 24 Cat8 cables per ring.

Steel cable rings

The best choice for high-volume structured cabling, our wire mesh solution delivers as many fixing points as possible to attach your cables throughout the entire height of the rack.

In Rack Cable Guides

In-rack cable guides

Install the cable guides in front and/or to the rear of your VMRs to achieve the best vertical cable management within the rack. Ideal for guiding copper cabling, with a capacity for up to 49 Cat8 cables per unit.

Adapter for Cable Guides for Fiber Optic

Adapter for cable guides for fiber optic

Use the toolless adapter to ensure that your most sensitive cabling solution remains damage-free by easing the bending radius of the cables when laying on the cable guides. These products can be placed at any desired unit of the cabinet as a snap-on solution on the cable guides, ideal for guiding fiber optic solutions. Capacity for up to 49 Cat8 cables per unit.
